For all those with field guides in either German or English, and who wish to know which mushrooms and toadstools are which, here is a list of names and edibility information. But beware: No liability will be assumed for any information in this list, as mushrooms tend to provoke allergic reactions in more and more people as the human race degenerates. The list starts with Latin name, common English name, edibility information (poisonous = maybe lethal, but definitely to be avoided, do not pick and put together with other mushrooms; yuk = eatable, but yuk; yuk/goodie = different quality statements in various sources, use with care; goodie = good to excellent), and the common German name in many cases. We assume no liability whatsoever for the information contained herein, consult a mycologist before eating any mushrooms collected by yourself, or try them out on undesirable persons.

No responsibility or liability whatsoever will be accepted for any identification of any mushroom made by the users of this page. Although many species are edible for many people, some species cause allergic reactions or illness for certain individuals: these are totally unpredictable.
